Some 2 year old's are funded for 15 hours per week, if their parents claim one or more of the following.
Child tax credit and/or working tax credit and your annual household income is less than £16,191 (as assessed by HM Revenue & Customs)
Income based job seekers allowance
Income related employment and support allowance
Support under part V1 of the immigration and Asylum Act 1999
The guarantee element of State Pension Credit
If you do not claim any of the above benefits, please contact the Family Information Service (FIS) to apply for a place, as your child will be eligible for a free place if they:
Receive Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Have an Education, Health and Care plan
Are looked after by the Council, or have left care through a Special Guardianship order, Child Arrangements order or adoption
Have a Child Protection or Child in Need Plan

We offer a variety of FREE funded sessions for 2 to 4 year old's, which can be taken either during term-time or all year round.
All 3 & 4 year old's are eligible for 15 hours of free education in the term following their 3rd birthday, for 38 weeks of the year.
From September 2017 some children will be eligible for a total of 30 hours per week, for 38 weeks, subject to the following conditions
- Both parents must be working - or the sole parent is working in a lone parent family
- Each parent earns, on average, a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage or national living wage
- Each parent must have an annual income of less that £100,000
